Pre-Advising

Students planning to study abroad must first attend a pre-advising meeting before meeting with an EGL advisor. These sessions cover everything you need to get started—program options, application details, and next steps. Check out the drop-in schedule below.

Important: The virtual pre-advising option is available only for regional campus students. If that’s you, you can schedule a session at s.uconn.edu/EGLvirtualpreadvising.

If you’d simply like to connect with a Mentor to hear about their experiences, ask questions, or get support with your application, you’re welcome to attend a pre-advising session as well!

To find individual Mentor hours, check the second schedule.
